Course Overview:

This program will explore and share on the rise of FinTech in particular in the areas of Artificial Intelligence, Blockchain, Cloud Computing and Big Data. Mr. Chan will draw on the combination of his professional experience across the IT, Financial Services industries and various Professional Associations to share on the opportunities and challenges of adopting new technologies as well as sharing of lessons learned from practical experiences of initiatives & innovations undertaken in Hong Kong, Mainland China and overseas. More importantly, he will illustrate how HK will be a smarter city when we play well and harmonise.

All participants successfully complete the one day course will obtain a “Certificate of Attendance” issued by HKSFA, HSUHK-EDC,IFTA.

Upon successful completion of any of the 4 courses of the Fintech & Blockchain” Series will obtain a “Certificate in FinTech & Blockchain” issued by HKSFA, HSUHK-EDC, IFTA.

Trainer Biography:

emil Chan

Mr Emil Chan

Mr Emil Chan is the Honorary Guest lecturer of HSUHK-EDC. For over 20 years, Mr. Chan has established, managed and coordinated IT and back office operations of leading international banks like Bayerische Landesbank, Credit Suisse, Banca Commerciale Italiana, Republic National Bank of New York and Bayerische Vereinsbank. He managed and trained of staff, handled IT budgets and led cross-functional teams. Mr. Chan is the co-founder and CEO of Starthub Holding Limited, an incubation consulting company in Hong Kong.

Mr. Chan is also a part time lecturer for various renowned universities and a corporate consultant with over 20 years of diversified expertise in management, financial products and Internet application. He is a seasoned FinTech expert with multidisciplinary experiences across IT, finance, startup as well as coaching and training. He is the Vice President of Internet Professional Association and a member of Advisory Committee in OGCIO.
