Registered Financial Consultant Day (RFC Day) on “Welcome Challenges, Embrace Opportunities”, organised by International Association of Registered Financial Consultants Hong Kong and Macau Centre Company Limited (IARFC (HK & Macau)) was held on 20 June, 2017, at Kowloon Royal Plaza Hotel. Executive Development Centre (EDC) was honoured to be invited to support RFC Day. As the supporting organisation, we invited Dr Haksin Chan, Head of Department of Marketing of Hang Seng Management College to deliver a speech on “The Challenges and Opportunities of Customer Growth”.
An impressive line-up of speakers was invited to share on various topics on RFC Day, which was attended by over 200 members of the International Association of Registered Financial Consultants (IARFC). Dr Haksin Chan spoke insightfully about how financial consultants should accurately identify customers’ needs to help them achieve their targets. Mr Edwin P. Morrow (former Chairman and CEO, IARFC) explained the importance of sustainable development and how it benefits financial consultants. Mr Benny Mau (Chairman, Hong Kong Securities Association) discussed the essential roles Shanghai Connect and Shenzhen Connect play in the market and what their effects are.
