Course Overview:

Digital and Social Media Marketing is so commonly used that more than three quarters of the top 100 companies are using at least one social media platform (i.e., Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, WeChat, etc). Definitely, social media marketing has emerged as a major development from traditional marketing. This course introduces concepts, theories and applications of social networks and social media analysis. Participants will come to evaluate how social media has changed the marketing paradigms and practices and why many companies are struggling with it. 

This course helps students to implement social media strategies which involve different aspects of marketing and hone their analytical skills. Due to a strong need for marketing professionals who are attuned to this area, this course is specifically for those in digital/social media marketing, consulting and brand management roles.

Upon successful completion of the course, participants will obtain a “Certificate of attendance”.

Dr Jeffrey Hui is an Honorary Guest Lecturer of EDC, a leading strategic i-Marketing and education expert in the region, the Chairperson of Hong Kong Institute of Marketing (HKIM) and Managing Director of a marketing consultancy company.
