Course Overview:

A recent survey by the Economist Intelligence Unit and FTI Consulting revealed that 73% of respondents identified crisis management as a significant concern that related to the image of their organisations.   Crisis management is a critical organizational function. Poorly handled crises can result in serious harm to stakeholder relations, long-term reputational damage, and even the very end of an organisation’s existence.  For organisations to be in the best position to handle crises, they first need to be aware of the risks, work to mitigate against them, and ensure that staff are equipped to be able to handle a crisis and the inevitable media scrutiny.

Participants will learn from experts how to prepare for and handle a crisis, as well as to identify and reduce risk of reputation mismanagement, and most importantly to build reputation. The training will be delivered through a mix of theory and role plays, and by the end of the course, participants should be far better prepared to handle a crisis situation in a way that minimise reputational damage to the organisation.

Upon successful completion of the course, participants will obtain a “Certificate of attendance”.
