Course Overview:

The blockchain fundamentals is a comprehensive of relevant topics in blockchain and cryptocurrency. From a theoretical standpoint, we start with the basic understanding of Bitcoin by building it from the bottom up, then explore the myriad of ideas and technologies relating to blockchain technology. From a practical standpoint, we start with the history of digital currency, then look at the current applications, compliance, token economy, trends, case studies and communities behind it to build a complete picture of the ecosystem surrounding blockchain technology.

All participants successfully complete the one day course will obtain a “Certificate of Attendance” issued by HKSFA, HSUHK-EDC,IFTA.

Upon successful completion of any of the 4 courses of the Fintech & Blockchain” Series will obtain a “Certificate in FinTech & Blockchain” issued by HKSFA, HSUHK-EDC, IFTA.

Trainer Biography:

Rex Wong

Mr Rex Wong 

Mr. Wong is the honorary guest lecturer of HSUHK-EDC. He is also the founder of HK Blockchain Industry Association and Blockchain Investment Fund Ltd. He has more than 20 years of experience in the field of finance and fintech areas. He has the professional qualifications of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA). He has directors and senior management position in four listed companies and has good experience in assisting listed companies to deal with different investment projects and merger and acquisition. His finance experience and blockchain knowledge gives him the ability to assist different enterprises for financial optimization,especially in token economy and capital market. He has also written a book for IPO in HK and another book for Blockchain and token economy.

Mr. Wong has been served as different post in listed companies in Hong Kong. For example, Independent Director in Guoan International; CFO in Vico International; Independent Director of ZhaoBangJi PPT, Senior Partner in Pruden Group; Senior Partner in Sharenews Communication.

Mr. Wong was graduated from the BBA, Accounting and Finance at the Chinese University of Hong Kong in 1999.
